Perdure UMC

Perdure UMC| Urethane modified concrete flooring system

Perdure UMC –  Urethane Concrete Systems are designed to protect floors in extreme environments, such as are found in food & beverage processing, commercial kitchens, heavy manufacturing facilities, and wherever thermal cycling, steam cleaning, chemical resistance and/ or MVT (Moisture Vapor Transmission) are of concern. When it comes to strength and durability, Perdure UMC has what it takes to handle any kind of weather and environment.  Perdure UMC has been used in America and Canada for many years by thousands of developers. It is a 3 component urethane modified cementious flooring system which combines the most demanding performance characteristics i.e. Resistance to:

  • Impact
  • Abrasion
  • Chemicals and thermal attack

To deliver the ultimate strength, a urethane binder is combined with Portland cement and graded aggregates. This ensures that the floor is resistant to moisture vapor transmission.

Why use Perdure UMC

With massive success, it is important to understand why many people prefer Perdure UMC. Some of the reasons are:

  • Zero Volatile Organic Compound (VOC)
  • Reasonably low price
  • Excellent adhesion to various substrates such as concrete, tiles, bricks, plywood and quarry among others
  • Low odor during application
  • Easy to apply/install thus a quick turn around
  • Superior impact and abrasion resistance
  • Can be applied over partially cured concrete slabs
  • Meets USDA and FDA standards

Who uses Perdure UMC

Perdure UMC can be used for virtually any kind of concrete based floor. However, the following developments can really benefit from this system:

  • Food processing areas
  • Bottling areas
  • Manufacturing facilities
  • Commercial/Industrial kitchens
  • Pharmaceutical areas
  • Cook/Chill areas
  • Plant vehicle aisles
  • Sanitize / Wash areas
  • Warehouses
  • Laboratories

Types of Perdüre UMC

Perdüre UMC-SL

This is a system designed to provide amazing resistance to three attacks: abrasion, impact and chemical attack. It is a seamless self-leveling medium to heavy duty, solid colored, three-component urethane modified cementious flooring system.Perdure can be broadcasted with quartz aggregate to increase surface texture and slip resistance. For a good performance, the system is applied at 3/16’ to ¼’ in thickness.

Perdure UMC-TS

Any developer with an urgent need for having a floor that is resistant to thermal stress, abrasion, impact and chemical attack, Perdure UMC-TS is the best product to use. Once applied, any floor can be able to last for a long time maintaining the unique look and feel. Perdure UMC is a trowel grade, heavy duty, solid color , 3 component system, urethane modified cementious flooring system. It has been in use in America and Canada for years with over 95% satisfaction rate. For optimum application, the system is best applied at ¼’-3/8’ thickness.

Perdure UM-CO

All developers have a special liking for a development that is cost effective and long lasting. Perdure UM-CO provides the best solution for abrasion and mechanical damage which enhances durability. Perdure UM-CO is a three component, solvent free, high build, colored, coating system which is based in the cementious urethane technology. Why is it installed you might ask? One reason why it can be installed is to act as a top coat for Perdure UMC broadcast textured finishes. Second, it can be applied to refresh existing cementious urethane flooring at a fraction of the original flooring. It is installed at 10mil thickness.
